diabetic live is the brainchild of Type 1 diabetic and site founder Christopher Berry. The site went live in August of 2006 as a personal labor of love. Berry was convinced that someone with diabetes should develop a system to keep other diabetics up to date on the latest news and innovations in diabetic care. This site is the result of that vision.

About Christopher Berry
Berry developed an IT company over the course of nine years. In October of 2007 he sold the company. He then dedicated more time to developing this site as well as developing his skills in golf as he works toward becoming a teaching pro.
Berry was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in 1977 and makes sure to wear a Medic Alert bracelet wherever he goes. Berry currently lives in the Washington, D.C. area.
Berry inked an agreement with diabetes wholesalers to provide visitors with a free glucose meter in May of 2009. A content rich newsletter is distributed every Tuesday free of charge.
